While some say its worked out for them just fine hot water could melt the rubber portion of the mouse pad and if youre not entirely sure what your mouse pad is made out of its best to simply avoid it.
Can you put mouse pads in the washing machine. I guess you could use some warm soapy water to give it a scrub. Put it in your sink or bathtub. When done just let it air dry.
Sorry to hear that. What I did was take a normal dish washing sponge soak it with hot water apply a pea sized dishwashing liquid and do a circular motion on the pad for awhile until its properly white and foamy. Putting this type of mousepad in the washing machine can damage your washing machine.
Do not wash anything that has electrical componen. Share on other sites. Roll it up put it in a pillow case tie it in a knot and toss it in with your clothes.

Both agreed on simple hand washing and that a washing machine is not a good idea. Same thing for the dryer. If the back of your mousepad says machine washable you can wash it with your regular laundry instead.
Due to a recent increase in people washing RGB pads this way. The cloth surface has a good chance of coming off the rubber underside in the machine even if it is sidelocked threaded along the edges the cloth can still lift off in parts of it. Posted July 8 2015.
