Maytag Washing Machine Wont Unlock

I cant find a way to unlock it but Im not sure if the problem is the locking latch or the control board.

Maytag washing machine wont unlock. Check if fuses are blown or the circuit breaker is thrown. If this is a front load washer remove the bottom panel. Look at the back of the control board and see if there is a flashing green light on the main control board inside the control panel.

Press the Drain and Spin button on the washers control panel to attempt to unlock the machine. Push the appropriate button to choose a new cycle. The washer will go into a hold and drain routine for 8 minutes.

First try to unplug the machine for 5 minutes then plug back in. Some common Maytag front-load washer problems include not agitating or spinning and not drainin. You can manually unlock the washer door by removing the service panel below the door.
