Step 2 Loosen the lock nuts. Start first by loosening each of those off slightly. Your washing machine needs to stand level and balanced on its feet to function properly.

To raise the height turn the clamp height nut counterclockwise. Lay a spirit level on the surface of the washer it help you get a more accurate gauge of the unevenness of each side of the washer. Loosen the lock nut.

If its rocking a lot your flooring or appliances feet may be uneven. A blown fuse will be black in color and must be replaced. Machine overloaded causing motor to overheat.

There may be a burning smell as well. Sometimes its very difficult to level the machine if the floor is out at the back. If you still need more shimming you have to deal with the fact that the vibration of the machine will cause it.

Not washing - not agitating Too many suds causing motor to overheat. This can be corrected. And this pressure switch can be adjusted to increase the water level in the wash tub.
