I used bio wash powder. There was very little lather so no rinsing problems. I used 50ml a capful with a darks wash at 30 degrees and 100ml with some towels at 60 degrees.
If you ever get a foaming machine by accident pour in fabric softener and the waxy content with break down the foam. Wash your garments by hand in the sink or spot-treat stains with shampoo and water. Just never put wash gel in your washing machine.
