Machine Washing Your Mop.
Can you put vileda mop head in washing machine. Yes the mop head can be cleaned in your washing machine up to 60C within a laundry bag. Either is acceptable for Vileda mops as they are machine washable as long as the temperature of the water remains below 60 degrees Celsius. Confirm from the manual the cycle and type of detergent to use in cleaning the mop head.
Its recommended to wash mop heads with other dirty rags or cleaning materials and throw a cap-full of bleach into the washer to sanitize. We recommended to replace a new refill once every season because with regular use it may be wearing out and time to refresh so you can keep your mop hygienic at all times and maintain its cleanliness eliminating any remaining dirt. If you are unsure of the temperature settings of a particular wash use a short gentle wash setting on the machine to ensure that the temperature will not harm the mop head.
