We always recommend washing your Tencel sheets over dry-cleaning them unless specifically directed otherwise by the manufacturers care instructions.

Tencel cant tolerate high temperatures but it is otherwise easy to care for. Add 2 capfuls or a squirt of Delicate Wash to a washbasin or sink filled with cool water. Typical everyday fabrics such as cotton and polyester blends can usually be washed in a normal machine but when they are included as components in more complicated designs even these materials should be dry cleaned.

Soak for up to 30 minutes. Tencel will shrink about 3 with the first washing and will resist shrinking from then on. However it should never be complete submerged nor agitated in a washing machine.
Avoid using hot water when washing Lyocell and avoid consistently drying Lyocell in a machine dryer as that will shrink the fabric. Delicate fabrics may be hand-washed in cold water with a gentle detergent. To shrink Tencel on purpose all you have to do is getting it soaking wet and wash or dry it under high heat.
