I looked in my manual and followed the cleaning instructions.
Brown flecks in washing machine. Ive seen something similar once where the tub crud was flaking off and getting into the wash basket. It is unlikely that the washer itself will leave a rust spot on clothing. I filled it with a hot wash and powder and left it over night then drained followed by another full wash cycle without clothes.
After washing in the washing machine there are brown flakes of laundry these flakes are dirty clothes. Soap flakes when added to cold water undiluted form soap dregs which adhere to the bowl and also add to the composition of Scrud. After I do a hot wash in my top loader fisher and paykel I get brown gunk on the clothes.
There will be these light brown slimy marks is the best way to describe them on the clothes coming from somewhere in the washing machine. To prevent scratches on your polished timber floor consider putting a rubber mat under your washer. If Scrud is allowed to build up in the machine it can result in stains on the clothes and an unpleasant smell in the washer.
It actually this that leaves the brown mess in your washing machine. Various attempts to remove these flakes do not produce any results. Your washing machines feet are adjusted properly and stabilised.
It is unlikely that the problem is a high iron. The first time I used it when I moved it the washed clothes were covered in these brown. Sludge can build up inside a washing machine when the dirty water doesnt drain away properly.
Clean up the build-up in the dispensing shaft and then try to do a few loads with no fabric softener to see whether the grease spots. As fabric softener heats the excess amount left in the dispenser will turn dark brown and leave stains on clothing. When I emptied the machine via the drain plug at the bottom the water was cloudy with lots of loose brown bits some crumb size in it.
