If you cant and your washing machine has a rinse only programme try that.
Black clothes coming out of washing machine with white marks. Both myself and my wife have black work clothes and its got to a stage where our clothes are unwearable My wife wipes out clothes with a damp cloth as she is ironing to get rid of the white stains. This should remove or take away most of the mould. The grease spots that mysteriously appear are probably deposits of undissolved fabric softener or detergent.
If you begin to hear a metallic screeching sound accompanying these marks it is probably your bearings and you will need to call someone to replace them. Ensure you wipe the seals dry after use and leave the door slightly open when not in use. Sometimes you can get them out by sponging.
New washing machine - about 4 months old - last few loads have come out with dark greasy marks all over them which werent there when they went in. Used to always use liquid but the machine used to smell horrible so switched to powder. Without regular cleanings washing machines can develop mysterious black stuff that can contribute to the degradation of the machines internal parts like hoses gaskets and more.
Now it seems whenever I do a wash most of the clothes mainly dark ones come out with white marks over them. Chlorine bleach should never be poured directly onto fabric. Clothes go into the washer looking fine but come out with stains rips or holes.
Many new washers have a small door near the bottom of the washer to access the filter right above the water pump. Machine is about 10 years old. If you have black mould on your door seals it can be quite hard to remove try a good strong neat bleach but only leave on for about 5 - 10 minutes.
I have cleaned around the door seal and my cloth shows black marks. I have today ruined my only favourite black cardi and more of hubbies t-shirts. That and I run towels on a 90 degree wash once a week with soda crystals and white vinegar to clean the machine.
