Airpods Through The Washing Machine

The AirPods can survive a full wash cycle.

Airpods through the washing machine. Wait till the 20 second timer ends the cleaning cycle. People who follow me on Twitter may recall that I sent my AirPods Pro through the wash last month. Some people report that their AirPods went through a full cycle and came out fine others will say that they went through and were damaged beyond repair.

I realized I washed the AirPods when I opened the machine to place the clothes in the dryer. Shortly afterwards I took the sweaty clothes off and placed them in the washer machine and started the machine. Sent my Air Pods Pro through the washing machine.

I am sooooo relieved. Its easy to forget your AirPods in your pocket and send them through the washing machine. Nov 8 2017.

Youve put your favorite jeans in the wash while unknowingly leaving your AirPods in a pocket. This just happened to me over the weekend. Please do not use them for at least 12 hours do not charge them or plug them on your phone.

Put them on to see if they worked and was surprised that they did. You are probably terrified that they wont work. Ive had AirPods forever but this was the first time I managed to destroy a pair with prolonged washing.
